Each day, we launch fishing our excursion on the waters of the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. Throughout the year, we target a multitude of species including yellowtail,mutton and mangrove snappers, red and black grouper, porgies, mackerel, shark, and the unavoidable grunt. We sail daily on an open boat basis, so come down to Historic Charter Boat Row and join us for a, 3/4-day or night fishing trip.  Day trips depart at 10 am returning at 4 pm.

Over 41 years ago Capt Billy   followed in his grandfather's and father's footsteps. Now  Billy is a 4th generation Captain.

Captain Billy grew up working in the family Charter business working as a mate for his Dad and  got his Captains' license at the young age of 18 in 1990. He captained his Dad's boats Linda D III and IV and was able to buy his own boat the Linda D V in 2003 which he owns and operates.

Captain Billy has been recognized for his fishing abilities by winning numerous awards over the years including the prestigious Key West Fishing Tournaments Outstanding Guide Award . Most releases  in general division , Also most Sailfish releases which he has won for 5 consecutive years.

In 1978 I moved from teaching school in  NYC to teaching fishing in Key West. My passion is sharing the thrill of sightfishing for big fish with light tackle with anglers of all skill levels.  I especially love teaching beginners to cast and fish.

Captain Ben Morehouse, is a young, aggressive, and passionate captain who flat out loves being on the water. Capt. Ben grew up fishing the canyons off New Jersey at a very young age. After graduating high school Ben moved to Key West and partnered up with one of the most successful commercial fishing operationsKey West has ever seen. Capt Ben and his partner did 2 to 5 day commercial fishing excursions around Key West and the Dry Tortugas. They successfully made a great living catching 1000'sof pounds of Snapper, Grouper, Kingfish, Amber jacks, and many others. Ask any captain and they will tell you; Captains with years of hook and line commercial fishing experience make the best charter captains.

Capt. Ben's runs the Outcast it is the only charter boat at Historic Charter Boat Row that has a unlimited snapper / Grouper permit. This permit allows Ben to commercial fish for Snapper & Grouper on days he does not have a charter. By doing so it allows Ben to always know where the fish are. Captain Ben is also know as one of the best spear fisherman in Key West. He is one of the few Capts. that can spearfish in deep water (200+ ft.). There are all kinds of fish for you to catch in the waters of Key West and the Florida Keys. While fishing here you will see many species depending on the season and water conditions. Some of the fish you will likely encounter are: Sailfish, Blackfin Tuna, Kingfish, Barracuda, Marlin, Wahoo, Dolphin fish (Mahi Mahi), Grouper, Tarpon, Yellowtail and various sharks.

We release all non-edible fish, such as billfish. Our mates will clean and filet your catch for you. Trophy fish can be mounted by a local taxidermy service.

We troll the reefs for grouper, snapper and barracuda or troll offshore for marlin, dolphin, sailfish, wahoo tuna and kingfish. We also live bait (check with the captain) with or without kites and anchor or drift over wrecks for the same fish.
